** Please bring your child a snack to school. We do not let first grade students go to the vending machines for snacks.
**Starting Friday 8-15-08, student are allowed to purchase ice cream. The cost is 50 cents. We will take money for ice cream, Monday through Thursday only of each week. Please have exact change each week. We cannot make change nor hold money for upcoming weeks.
**Our class will begin going back to the library Thursday, 8-28-08. Please bring back the books previous checked out. Each student can check out two books. These books will be due back in two weeks.
**Please fill out the PTO membership form and return as soon as possible. Your membership gives you the right to vote for important issues concerning Harmony and your children. Also, our class will receive a pizza party with 100% family membership.
**Have your child read their library books to you or with you. They can take an AR test on them at school. Remember, first grade students have a goal to reach by the end of the year.
