Welcome to our class web site. I am excited about teaching this year in first grade. There are so many wonderful things that happen in first grade, and you will see tremendous growth in your child. This is going to be an exciting year.
Outside of the classroom, I love spending time with my husband and daughter. We love to travel and visit family all over the United States. At home, we have four cats, one rabbit, and three pet frogs. We love animals! My daughter and I enjoy playing tennis as well. She thinks she is a much better player than I am, but I would have to disagree with her. My daughter, Peyton, is starting middle school this year. She is looking forward to being a middle schooler. I am not sure if I am ready for this as well.
I am looking forward to meeting you and getting to know your family during our parent-teacher conferences, school events, open house, etc. I want to thank you in advance for a wonderful year.
